Network TV Ads for Internet Marketers
If you haven’t heard, Google has a new service, as part of their Adwords line, where you can upload your TV commercial and buy airtime on national cable networks from your own computer… And you can get these ads for $100 or maybe even less!
I know what you’re thinking… “You gotta’ be out of your mind! How can you get an ad spot on national TV for $100 or less?”
Well, Seth Stevenson, one of the editors of Slate V, recently did an experiment with it and had fairly good results. Their ad actually aired 54 times to 1.3 million viewers at a total cost of $1300 on various networks including Fox News, during the late-night Glenn Beck show re-runs…

My understanding is that you bid on the airtime from Google tv ads, much like you bid on keywords for a regular Adwords campaign. The lower bids are going to be on more obscure channels and during off-peak times, but if you have the budget for it, I suppose that you could get your ad on anywhere, even during prime-time…
